Excellent ideas! I'm in the middle of a recipe book and I'm looking for ideas and recipes -- so why not make that into a mix? Maybe I'll have a few ladies over to bring a receipe ala potluck-style so we can swap the instructions and I can put them into my recipe book. If anyone who reads this is interested, please feel free to contact Rachel Johnson at racheljohnson77@gmail.com. I'm off to finish my beet-hazelnut cupcakes now!
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of the cook book, perhaps we could sell them and give the money to families in need to do something "fun" with their families.
ReplyDeleteI am also all about the beach during the summer, maybe setting up a tower to be at on particular days:).
Love these ideas....our small group is looking at hosting something called "Will Play for Food"....a big play date for parents and children and we only ask that you bring donations for the local food shelter. Excited for summer to see what we can get started in HB. I love the idea of growing a community and serving others at the same time.
ReplyDeleteWow -- what great ideas! Does the church have a list of people in the hospital? I'd like to go visiting and bring flowers or balloons.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to have FCC women take the lead and organize events together. I like this forum -- could it grow into a place for us to connect with one another and take the reigns to organizing smaller meet-ups? A walking group sounds nice. I'm pretty new to the area and don't know the best places to walk, but would love it if someone at FCC might put a note on here if they were interested in getting some good old-fashioned lady-time together in Christ's love!
